Wilderness First Aid Certification

Wilderness environments present unique challenges—not found in urban or suburban settings—where first responders must manage emergencies with limited resources, prolonged care, and complex evacuation decisions. This hands-on, scenario-based course prepares participants to recognize, respond to, and manage medical emergencies in remote backcountry settings.

This 16-hour training meets or exceeds the Boy Scouts of America Wilderness First Aid Curriculum and Doctrine Guidelines (2017 Edition) and is ideal for trip leaders, guides, outdoor professionals, and backcountry travelers.

Participants will learn how to assess patients, make evacuation decisions, and treat a wide range of injuries and illnesses using practical, field-ready skills.
