Our ASHI CPR, AED & Adult First Aid course is a comprehensive training program designed for community members, workplace responders, and anyone who wants to be prepared for emergencies. This combined course provides practical, hands-on instruction in how to recognize and respond to life-threatening medical and traumatic events—including cardiac arrest, choking, bleeding, shock, burns, fractures, and more.
Ideal for job requirements, volunteer roles, or personal readiness, this training meets OSHA and workplace compliance standards and follows the latest 2020 AHA Guidelines for CPR and ECC and first aid best practices. Taught by experienced EMS professionals, this course emphasizes scenario-based learning to build real-world confidence.

CPR/AED/Adult First Aid Course Details
Certification:
American Safety & Health Institute (ASHI) CPR, AED & Adult First Aid – valid for 2 years
Prerequisites:
None – open to all participants
Note: CPR is included in this course. Participants should confirm if this combined certification meets their specific job or regulatory requirements.
Course Length:
Adult First Aid plus Adult/Child/Infant CPR AED: 4 1/2 - 6 1/2 hours
Student Evaluation:
Written evaluation: Required when specied by organizational, local, or state regulation. It is recommended for designated responders with a duty or employer expectation to respond in an emergency and provide rst aid care.
Performance evaluation: All students must perform required skills competently without assistance.
